Description
The Tudor Heritage Black Bay Black 'Dark' was introduced at BaselWorld 2016. The stainless steel case, measuring 41mm across, is fitted with a black PVD-coating, as is its straight-end bracelet - it is also available with an aged leather strap. Like the other 2016 Black Bay models, the 'Dark' is fitted with an in-house movement. An additional fabric strap is included in the package until 2018, when 79230DK-0008 was introduced.
Movement
Beating to a frequency of 28,800 beats/hour or 4Hz, the movement is regulated by a variable inertia oscillator with silicon balance spring, held in place by a traversing bridge - a guarantee of its robustness. The movement is certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).
