Description
The 3448 is one of Patek's most coveted references. It was the first self-winding perpetual calendar to be made - not just by Patek, but by any manufacturer. It is said a little under 600 examples were made, including a few without moonphase and an exceedingly small number of transitional models featuring the leap year indicator as later found on the ref. 3450.
The present example was manufactured in 1972 and later sold by Antiquorum.
Movement
The first self-winding perpetual calendar wristwatch movement. Based on 27-460 automatic movement. Introduced ca. 1962; later improved with indication for leap year in caliber 27-460 QB.
