Description
For the second iteration of its 'simple' chronograph, Patek did away with the stick marker / Roman numeral mix of the 5170J-001, in favor of the Breguet-style numerals found on the present 5170G, which debuted at BaselWorld 2013.
Compared to the earlier 5070, the case of the 5170 is a good 3mm smaller. The CH 29-535 -in-house- movement is easily identified by its signature position of the two subdials.
The 5170G-001 was discontinued in 2016.
Movement
Patek's in-house manual wind chronograph movement. Total of 269 parts.
