Description
The Patek Philippe 5070 reached its zenith ten years after its introduction with the 2008 introduction of the 5070P. The iconic reference finally got a platinum case and it was paired with a sunburst metallic blue dial. The 5070 line was dropped in 2010 in favor of the in-house 5170. The yellow gold 5070J was discontinued in 2004, while the white gold 5070G and red gold 5070R made it till 2008.
Movement
The CH 27-70 finds its base in the Lemania 2310. This hand-wound chronograph movement powered the iconic 5070 chronograph until it was replaced by the in-house 5170.
