Description
Calatrava wristwatch with cloisonne enamel dial.
A tropical plant in glowing colors graces the dial of this limited edition (number of pieces unknown) in Grand Feu cloisonne enamel.
The decor of the ?��Heliconias?�� called for 70 cm of flat ribbon wire measuring 0.1 x 0.4 mm; 33 cm of round wire 0.1 mm in diameter for the veins of the leaves; opaque, semi-opaque and transparent enamels in 22 colors; and 11 firings at temperatures ranging from 800?aC to 820?aC. The bezel and lugs are set with 113 brilliant-cut Top Wesselton Pure diamonds (~0.8 ct) and the buckle sparkles with 29 diamonds (~0.22 ct).
Housed in a rose-gold case, the caliber 240 ultra-thin self-winding movement may be admired through the sapphire-crystal back.
