Description
The Omega Speedmaster Racing Master Co-Axial was introduced at BaselWorld 2017. The case measures 44.25mm across, housing the self-winding caliber 9900 - or in this case, the 9901.
Ref. 329.53.44.51.03.001 has a blue dial and a Sedna gold case. It is fitted with an alligator strap.
Movement
First of Omega's chronograph movements to receive the new METAS cerfication. Introduced at BaselWorld 2016 in the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean; replacement for the 9301 movement.
Self-winding chronograph movement with column wheel mechanism and Co-Axial escapement. Movement and watch tested according to Master Chronometer certification process approved by METAS. Resistant to magnetic fields reaching 15,000 gauss. Silicon balance-spring on free sprung-balance, 2 barrels mounted in series, automatic winding in both directions, time zone function. Central hour, minute and chronograph seconds hands, small seconds hand and 12-hour and 60-minute recorders. 18K Sedna? gold rotor and balance bridge with Geneva waves in arabesque.
