Description
The Omega Speedmaster 304.32.44.51.01.001 was introduced in anticipation of BaselWorld 2017. It features a stainless steel case with a ceramic bezel insert with LiquidMetal tachymeter scale, and a black / grey 'Racing' style dial inspired by the Mark II and other historical Speedmaster watches.
Compared to the earlier 311.XX generation, it's profile is slightly slimmer - mainly due to a redesign of the sapphire crystals - and the subdials are slightly larger. It is the first Speedmaster to be powered by the Master Chronometer caliber 9900 movement.
Reference 304.32.44.51.01.001 is fitted with a leather strap with orange rubber mid section.
Update; will be launched under reference number 329.32.44.51.01.001 as part of a new series of 'Racing' Speedmasters.

First of Omega's chronograph movements to receive the new METAS cerfication. Introduced at BaselWorld 2016 in the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean; replacement for the 9300 movement.
