On a stainless-steel bracelet, the case displays a silver-toned dial with mother-of-pearl centre, finely curved hands inspired by the age of Empires and imperial Roman numerals that command time, while the noble lustre of the amethyst cabochon in the crown evokes the imperial purple of the Byzantine court.
