The Rotonde Mysterious Hour builds upon Cartier's long history of 'mysterious' clocks, whose hands seemingly float in thin air without any visible connection to any form of movement. Reference W1556224 has a white gold case set with 68 brilliant-cut diamonds and beaded rhodiumized 18K white gold crown set with a brilliant-cut diamond, for a total of 1.30 carats. The [white gold] dial is set with 448 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 1.60 carats, while the folding clasp is set with 43 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 0.42 carats.
