Description
The Royal Oak Concept Carbon Chronograph was introduced in 2008. It is one of the first watches to have both case and [parts of the]movement made of forged carbon. The bezel is made of ceramics; the caseback is titanium. Production is not limited though said to be capped at approx. 60 units a year.
Movement
Hand-wound movement with tourbillon escapement and integrated chronograph complication with linear minute counter. Twin barrels for a 237 hour power reserve. PVD coated balance; carbon mainplate & anodized aluminum bridges. Double cone power reserve.
