Description
The Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel was introduced at SIHH 2016. It features an open-worked movement with two superimposed balance wheels in the typical Royal Oak case with dimensions similar to that of the 2015 15400.
Reference 15416CE.OO.1225CE.01 was added to the collection in 2020. This has a black ceramic case and matching bracelet.
Movement
Self-winding, open-worked movement. In an effort to increase stability and precision a second balance wheel and balance-spring are mounted to the same axis as the original, in effect increasing the mass and thus inertia over the use of a single balance assembly of the same size.
